About

Aryan is a Master’s student in Artificial Intelligence at Northeastern University’s Khoury College of Computer Sciences, where he specializes in deep learning and computer vision. Curiosity about AI for Science is what drew him to the intersection of Ai and Life sciences. He is fascinated by the growing role of computational methods in the life sciences, where learning from complex, high-dimensional data is beginning to reshape how questions in biology and medicine are asked and answered. He is especially drawn to the idea that the tools of modern AI, applied thoughtfully can accelerate progress on problems that matter for human health. Away from research, he will happily watch just about any sport that is on television, and as a fun fact, he speaks six languages.

• Medical imaging & interpretability — Grad-CAM, attention rollout, and post-hoc explainability for clinical decision support
• Computer vision — detection, segmentation, depth estimation, and multi-model perception ensembles
• Deep learning architectures — CNNs, Vision Transformers, and comparative analysis of inductive biases
• Generative models — controllable generation, demographic fairness in synthesis, evaluation beyond FID
• Neuroimaging & neuro-AI — fiber bundle segmentation, diffusion MRI, and representation learning on brain data
